Nations Friendship Academy Celebrates Graduation of the Business Start-up Training Program

NFA, Online — Nations Friendship Academy successfully held the Course Completion Ceremony for participants of its Business Start-up Training Program on Saturday, July 26, marking another important milestone in the Academy’s mission to empower young people through quality education, entrepreneurship, and professional skills development.

The ceremony brought together the Academy’s leadership, instructors, members of the evaluation committee, students, and distinguished guests to celebrate the achievements of the program’s participants.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Mian, who also served as the Master of Ceremonies throughout the program.

Representing the Academy’s leadership, Dr. Shams, Deputy for Administrative Affairs, introduced Nations Friendship Academy and highlighted its educational vision, institutional achievements, and continued commitment to preparing skilled, innovative, and responsible future leaders through specialized education and capacity-building initiatives.

Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Shafiq Rasouli “Shomal,” representing the Academy’s leadership and serving as the course instructor, reflected on the students’ learning journey, commended their dedication and perseverance, and emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurship education in promoting innovation, self-reliance, and sustainable economic development.

A major highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of business projects by student teams. The presentations demonstrated the participants’ ability to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired throughout the training program. Following each presentation, members of the evaluation committee provided professional feedback, constructive recommendations, and valuable guidance to support the students’ future entrepreneurial endeavors.

The evaluation committee comprised:

  • Mr. Mohammad Osman Yawar, Msc.Eco, Committee Secretary
  • Hayatullah Saeedi, Master of Business Administration
  • Dr. Mehdi Ghafoori Vayeghan, Data analyst
  • Mr. Shafiq Shomal, Master of Business & Management

Following a brief intermission, the evaluation results were officially announced by Dr. Shams in collaboration with the Academy’s technical team, led by Ms. Mahmoudi. During the session, Ms. Mahmoudi also introduced the Academy’s upcoming educational and professional development programs, encouraging prospective learners to participate in future training opportunities.

The ceremony concluded with remarks of appreciation recognizing the valuable contributions of the instructors, evaluation committee members, technical team, students, and distinguished guests whose dedication and support contributed to the successful implementation of the program.

The successful completion of the Business Start-up Training Program reflects Nations Friendship Academy’s steadfast commitment to strengthening the entrepreneurial capacity, professional competencies, and leadership potential of Afghanistan’s youth. Through practical, high-quality education and skills-based training, the Academy continues to invest in developing the next generation of business leaders, innovators, and change-makers who will contribute to sustainable economic growth and national development.
